Chazen Expands Into Oregon

The Chazen Companies is pleased to announce Roger Fast, CBO, CFM has joined the growing code services team as Senior Code Analyst located at 12655 SW Center Street, Suite 350 in Beaverton, Oregon.

In recent years, Chazen partnered with Code Unlimited, LLC working on a variety of projects throughout New York State. As the need for code services grew, Chazen expanded their geographic reach to Oregon by leveraging Code Unlimited’s partnership and Fast’s talent and strength. Fast is a Certified Building Official (CBO), Certified Fire Marshall (CFM) and holds over 19 other certifications for building code reviews and inspections. Along with technical expertise Fast is a skilled communicator who has earned respect as a voice or reason on sometimes chaotic and often complex construction issues. Design professional, contractors, and trades persons look forward to having him on their job site, answering questions, reviewing designs, inspecting construction, and most importantly solving difficult issues.

“Roger has a tremendous amount of experience in code review,” said Edward Larkin, P.E., Principal, Director, Code Services, The Chazen Companies. “We are excited to have him join our team and grow our presence in Oregon.”

As an Oregon registered Third Party Plan Review and Inspection Business (SRB), Chazen will focus solely on providing plan review and inspection support to jurisdictions across Oregon.
