Chazen Continues to Expand in Poughkeepsie



Chazen is pleased to welcome two new additions to its growing Land Surveying team to the Hudson Valley office located at 21 Fox Street in Poughkeepsie.

Mark Melvin has joined Chazen as a Survey Technician. Melvin graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a B.A. in Geography and Minor in History. Prior to joining Chazen, he was a Geographic Information Systems Intern for Mohonk Preserve in New Paltz where he was responsible for trail and boundaries management and GIS data collection. Melvin lives in Hopewell Junction.

Eric Mathe has joined the company as a Survey Crew Chief. Mathe graduated from the State College of Florida with an A.A. degree. Previously, he worked for Brewer Surveying as a Crew Chief where he completed boundary and topographic surveys in Phoenicia. He resides in Kingston.

Voices: A Library Lecture Series is offered each semester at Hudson Valley Community College to broaden and enrich the scope of studies at the college by presenting speakers on timely and enduring issues, and sharing these lectures and discussions with the community.
