The Chazen Companies, an employee-owned, multi-disciplinary consulting firm, announced that it has acquired the assets of Adler Consulting, Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering, PLLC. Based in White Plains, NY, Adler Consulting serves a broad range of clients in the lower Hudson Valley, and Fairfield County Connecticut.

Founded in 1991 by Bernard Adler, P.E., Adler Consulting serves private developers and municipal agencies. Mr. Adler was the former Commissioner of Traffic for the City of White Plains and a former adjunct professor at Manhattan College in Bronx, NY. Adler’s team is comprised of transportation engineers, Michael O’Rourke, P.E., PTOE, Vaishali Thiruvengadam, and Alana Yue, P.E.

“We believe there is great value to Chazen’s and Adler’s clients in blending the skills and resources of both firms,” said Mark Kastner, P.E., President, The Chazen Companies. “Adler’s impressive capabilities will be a tremendous addition to our existing transportation group.”

Adler Consulting will continue to provide the highest level of quality work to its clients, but now with the greater resources of Chazen. Adler Consulting will retain its name with the addition of being “a Chazen Company”.

“I look forward to working with Chazen and being able to expand service offerings to my clients,” said Bernard Adler, President, Adler Consulting, a Chazen Company. “I have always considered Chazen to be a great firm whose culture and skills align well with ours, and look forward to being part of their organization.”
