CDPHP Employees Raise Record $60,000 For Local Charities
CDPHP is thrilled to announce the results of a year-long, employee-driven fundraising campaign that netted nearly $60,000 for two local charities. The efforts, all part of the CDPHP Charity of Choice campaign, gives employees the opportunity to provide both financial and hands-on support to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
This year, CDPHP employees selected two local organization – The Bus Stop Club and Family Promise of the Capital Region – to serve as the 2017 Charities of Choice. Throughout the year, employees organized dozens of fundraisers and exceeded their $50,000 fundraising goal.
“CDPHP employees never seize to amaze me,” said CDPHP president and CEO, Dr. John D. Bennett. “For the past seven years, our employees have wholeheartedly embraced this campaign, donating their time, money, and energy to local organizations in need,” added Bennett.
This year, for the first time, the CDPHP Charity of Choice campaign was successfully run through CDPHP, The Foundation, the plan’s philanthropic arm which works to support the health, wellness, education, and cultural vibrancy in the Capital Region community.
In 2018, CDPHP is proud to announce that Family and Child Service of Schenectady has been selected to serve as the 2018 CDPHP Charity of Choice.
