Capital Region Gives, the Big $100,000 Giveaway returns in November

On November 14, the Times Union will once again publish the popular special section on philanthropy, Capital Region Gives. In this edition we will focus on “The Changing Business of Nonprofits”. We will explore decreasing gap between how nonprofits and for profits run their businesses and dispel they myths about what some people think about how nonprofits function.

A very special feature of Capital Region Gives is The Big $100,000 Giveaway. The Times Union and corporate sponsors will again host a contest for 10 nonprofits to each win a $10,000 advertising grant for 2020.

If you know of a philanthropic business that would like to partner, contact Charmaine Ushkow, Director of Community Engagement, Times Union. 518 454 5792
