The Bonadio Group Hosts Albany College and University Breakfast Series With Focus on Compliance Topics, Tuesday, July 9

Albany, N.Y., July 1, 2019— As an expert in higher education accounting, tax and compliance, The Bonadio Group, a nationally-ranked Top 40 CPA firm, is hosting a breakfast event on July 9th at Clarkson University’s Capital Region campus. Interested parties are invited to attend this free event which is part of a series that the firm is hosting throughout New York State in July.

WHAT:

A lively discussion about compliance requirements facing colleges and universities today. Higher education legal expert and featured speaker Tina Sciocchetti of Nixon Peabody, LLP, will be presenting on related law and legal compliance requirements surrounding current topics including the admissions scandal, New York State non-profit law developments, wage inquiries in hiring, overtime pay under the FLSA, Title IX developments, New York sexual harassment prevention training, and New York lobbying law changes.

Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Registration and breakfast will be between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., and the presentation begins promptly at 9:00 a.m.
