Action Window Cleaning dba AWCplus Achieves NYS WBE Certification

Action Window Cleaning, dba AWCplus, a business specializing in commercial window cleaning, aerial maintenance services and specialty cleanings, is proud to announce certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by Empire State Development of NYS.

“I’ve had many customers ask if AWCplus is a certified woman owned business because they are trying to meet diversity goals.” Says Lisa Despart, owner of AWCplus. “Having this certification will help my current customers meet their initiatives while enabling them to use the services of an established vendor. Additionally, I will be able to welcome new customers seeking to work with a WBE who can deliver quality, professional services at a fair price.”

The standard of certification implemented by Empire State Development is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.

By including women-owned businesses among their suppliers, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs.
