ACE Hardware rebrands as Hatchet Hardware

When we started out with our first shop in 2014 we weren’t sure where this journey would take us so we decided to stick with the ACE Hardware name. We love being a part of the ACE family so we didn't want to leave, but we needed a little change. If you don’t already know, ACE Hardware is a co-op so all stores are independently owned and operated; and almost always by families just like ours. This has given us the opportunity to be creative in our shops, and what makes each one unique.

Currently, we have two incredibly diverse shops in Troy, NY and we are only going to continue to grow. With that, we wanted to build a strong brand identity to not only help us stand out but to aid us in building better relationships with our customers and our community.

We’ve decided to rebrand to Hatchet Hardware to better represent our desire to break the mold of the average hardware store. We will continue to change things up, think outside of the box, and be bold.

Hatchet Hardware is a family-owned hardware store native to upstate New York. We strive to offer goods and services that work to improve every aspect of your life. Are you in pursuit of refreshing your home but you’re unsure where to begin? Come see our paint specialists at our two locations. Are you looking to spice up your home decor? Perhaps, you’re seeking that perfect gift for someone special? Visit our home goods department.  Whatever your needs; from plumbing to gardening, we are here for you!

Thanks for coming along for the ride, and for being a part of the Hatchet Hardware family.
