Technology Grant Administrator

Summary of Essential Job Functions

• Assists schools in hardware procurement
• Provide technical support, training and, when appropriate, one-on-one assistance to the low-income families who are recipients of the hardware and software
• Oversee the acquisition and distribution of technical devices and services
• Develop and manage an inventory and tracking system
• Arrange for and conduct check-in meetings/calls with families
• Ensure that students and families/guardians understand how to use and care for their devices
• Help students adjust to remote learning environment
• Manage all technical aspects of the grant, including Internet connectivity, software/hardware integration with the schools, etc…
• Prepare interim reports as required by the grant agency

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• Demonstrated successful experience using computer hardware, software and peripheral devices to support the delivery of classroom instruction
• Familiarity with Microsoft and Google platforms, as well as content management software
• Self-motivated person, able to work autonomously, report progress regularly and work collaboratively with the schools and Catholic School Office
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Possess outstanding oral and written communications skills. A strong, results-orientated work ethic and flexibility are critical
• Respect for the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church
• Valid driver’s license with record of safe operation of motor vehicle
