Working in Marketing and Communications, this role collaborates closely with the Vice President of Development and Marketing, the Agency’s statewide Foster Care, Development, and Human Resource teams, and external marketing and communication partners. This position is empowered to bring creativity and authenticity to manage projects, social media platforms, identifying and developing plans for brand awareness and growth, creating communication plans aligned with goals, identifying KPI’s for measurement as well as recommendations for continuous improvement. This person will bring their passion for learning new and trending ideas to the collective table while simultaneously demonstrating their content strategy, goal planning, data analytics, and implementation skills.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in communications and/or marketing. Experience managing multiple publications simultaneously is preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in designing and implementing marketing, communication, and public relations plans, including digital marketing campaigns. Thorough understanding of marketing elements including traditional, content, and digital marketing and experience with marketing data analytics and tools.
  • Ability to use social media and website content management systems and improve/maximize SEO efforts on an on-going basis.
  • Demonstrated project management skills including prioritization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with CRM databases, website hosting platforms, and graphic design programs. Constant Contact, WIX, Canva, InDesign and Photoshop experience are preferred.
  • Participation and membership in the American Marketing Association (AMA)
  • Content Marketing and Digital Marketing certifications a plus
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule occasionally when there are time sensitive needs.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license. Travel may be required.

Experience
Required

  • 3 - 5 years: Experience in communications and/or marketing. Experience managing multiple publications simultaneously is preferred.

Preferred

  • Must light weekend and night availability in case time sensitive material.
