Description:

First New York FCU is seeking a Part-time Mortgage Escrow Servicer to work Monday –Friday mornings. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the Residential & Commercial mortgage servicing area, specifically focused on escrow analysis, escrow disbursements, cancellation of insurance, vendor management, loan payment processing, ARM rate changes and member service.

Will be expected to service all residential (and if applicable, commercial) mortgage escrow accounts to include coordinating with third party vendors, verifying all escrow transactions, managing overages/shortages, responding and following up on audit and post-closing issues, setting up log sheets, and responding to all servicing related inquiries with regard to escrow.  Will review and prepare reports, participate in calls with vendors, and remain current with all regulations pertaining to residential mortgage servicing.

A high school diploma and minimum of three years of experience servicing mortgages/escrow required. Should be fluent in Microsoft Office, FICS Loan Producer and mortgage servicer software, with a general knowledge of FHLB or secondary market servicer guides.
