Troy City Hall Ropens to the Public on March 22

Mayor Patrick Madden today announced that City Hall will reopen to the public beginning Monday, March 22nd. Public access to City Hall will resume on normal hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with the exception of holidays. Masks will be required at all times in City Hall, and visitors are expected to adhere to public health guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Specific departments will be limited to appointment only.

Mayor Madden said, “As vaccine availability in the Capital Region continues to increase, we are taking the necessary steps to reopen City Hall safely and responsibly. Guidelines will be implemented to protect employee and public health, including use of personal protective equipment and limits on access to specific departments by appointment only. I want to thank our hard-working City employees who helped preserve essential services throughout this pandemic, and I encourage continued vigilance against COVID-19 in the coming months.”

Residents are encouraged to limit non-essential visits to City Hall. City officials encourage property owners and residents to utilize online services, including bill-pay (www.troyny.gov/pay) for taxes, water bills, parking violations, and other fees. Payments can also be transmitted by mail.

The City has implemented several operational safety plans that outline access to specific departments. Residents are encouraged to call or email individual departments prior to visiting City Hall. For department contact information, visit www.troyny.gov/departments
