Mark Witte Promoted to Partner at UHY Advisors



UHY Advisors, Inc. (UHY) today announced that Mark Witte has been promoted to partner. Based in the firm’s Albany, New York office, Witte advises business leaders on a wide range of tax issues with both large multinational businesses as well as small closely-held domestic businesses. His expertise also includes corporate accounting for income taxes and planning, compliance and consulting for closely-held businesses and their high net worth owners.  

“Mark’s promotion to partner comes after over a decade of providing exceptional leadership and expertise in our Albany office,” said Howard Foote, Office Managing Partner – Capital Region. “Mark works closely with C-suite executives across a variety of industries and is a tremendous asset to our firm. We’re excited to have him join the partner team as he continues to work with some of the largest companies in the Capital Region,” added James Daniels, Lead Tax Partner for UHY LLP in Albany.

Witte joined UHY LLP in 1999 as a senior associate in the UHY New York City Offices and later joined the firm’s Albany office in 2004. Previously, Witte served as a Principal responsible for providing income and sales tax expertise for a wide variety of business entity structures within multiple industries. Witte’s industry expertise includes a variety of entity structures including C-Corps, S-Corps, partnerships and sole proprietorships. Aligning with UHY’s commitment to the local community, Witte serves as a board member and treasurer of St. Catherine’s Center for Children.

Witte holds a BS in accounting from Binghamton University, and is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Public Accountants.
