Community Resource Federal Credit Union Announces New Chief Financial Officer

January 25, 2021 (Latham, NY): Community Resource Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the selection of Anthony LaPointe as the credit union’s new Chief Financial and Chief Technology Officer.

“Selecting the right leadership team is pivotal to our future success. I am confident Anthony possesses the experience, integrity, loyalty and teamwork necessary for effective leadership,” said Terry Langlois, President/CEO.

LaPointe comes to Community Resource from Parks Heritage Federal Credit Union in Glens Falls, where he was Chief Executive Officer. LaPointe boasts an impressive financial background with a focus on the credit union movement, having held management roles with both Parks Heritage and TCT Federal Credit Union. In addition to his 14 years serving in the credit union industry, LaPointe has studied Business Management and Economics at SUNY Empire State as well as holds a bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering.

When asked to comment, Anthony stated, “I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to lead an organization for which I have a great deal of respect. I am at a point where I’ve accumulated the right level and diversity of experience to manage the challenges of being a CFO for a notably member focused financial institution. I am looking forward to getting to know and serving the membership of Community Resource Federal Credit Union.”
