St. Peter’s Health Partners formed on October 1, 2011 by the merger of St. Peter’s Health Care Services, Northeast Health and Seton Health. The organization is the region’s largest and most comprehensive not-for –profit network of high-quality, advanced medical care, primary care, rehabilitation and senior services, and is the “parent corporation” for the three merging health systems. St. Peter’s Health Partners includes Albany Memorial Hospital and St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany; Samaritan Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital in Troy; Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital in Schenectady; as well as The Eddy system of continuing care, and The Community Hospice.
St. Peter’s Health Partners employs more than 11,700 individuals at more than 125 locations across seven counties.
The Eddy: Offers senior health care, housing and community services
Albany Memorial Hospital and Samaritan Hospital: A 470-bed facility; Senior Care Services/Programs of all-inclusive care for the elderly; an Alzheimer's Disease Assistance Center; and Schools of Nursing. Specialty services include cancer treatment, behavioral health, diabetes treatment, Family Birth Center, women's health, rehabilitation cardiac care, stroke, kidney stone treatment and primary care.
Seton Health – a comprehensive, integrated health care system anchored by St. Mary's Hospital in Troy, a 201 bed facility that has established a reputation as one of the region's finest community hospitals. Specialty services include: home health care, Childbirth Center, outpatient OB/GYN services, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, physical rehabilitation, Sleep Lab, Incontinence Treatment Center, Center for Smoking Cessation, diabetes education and inpatient addiction services. Seton also operates nine primary care sites, an urgent care center, women's imaging center and Schuyler Ridge Nursing Home and Adult Day Care.*
Albany Medical Center – the only academic health sciences center in the 25 counties of eastern New York and western New England. The mission of Albany Medical Center is to provide the region with excellence in medical education, biomedical research, and patient care. Specialty services include: The Heart Institute; Cancer Center; Vascular Institute; Regional Trauma and Neonatal Center; heart, kidney, and pancreas transplantation. The Medical Center includes Albany Medical Center Hospital, a 651-bed facility, Children's Hospital, South Clinical Campus with same-day surgery and Breast Care Center, Albany Medical Physician Group, Albany Medical College and Albany Medical Center Foundation.
St. Peter's Hospital – provides New York's Capital Region with a comprehensive, integrated continuum of care.
