Greg Mardigian has been appointed General Manager of the Country Club of Troy it was announced today by Rick Keeler, President of the Board of Governors at the Club.  The appointment is effective immediately.

 

The Northeast Kidney Foundation announced it will expand its vehicle donation program aimed at channeling proceeds back to the local community. The newest markets to benefit from Kidney Wheels include Buffalo, Rochester and Westchester, New York along with Western Massachusetts and Vermont.

 

Tammy Kirkwood recently joined 3tarchitects, a progressive design and architecture firm located in downtown Albany, as a studio coordinator.

 

Excelsior College has announced the appointment of Roberto Figueroa II to the position of executive director of admissions. Figueroa, most recently assistant director of Admissions at SUNY Orange, arrives at Excelsior with a career spanning higher education and entrepreneurship.

 

Gallivan Corporation, a family-owned and managed landscape design construction and management firm based out of Troy, N.Y., was recently awarded a Merit Award by the Professional Landscape Network (PLANET). The award was given as part of PLANET’s 2011 Annual Environmental Improvement Awards.

BlueShield's The Healthy Changes Everything® Schools Video Contest is in full swing, with the region’s participating schools filming their best work for a chance to win cash grants up to $2,500. More than 40 schools have registered so far, and all public, private and charter schools in the following New York counties – Albany, Clinton, Columbia, Essex, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren, Washington – are still eligible to sign up and  participate. Brown’s Brewing Company proudly announces the appointment of Luca Brunelle CEC as Executive Chef.
